1901, a luxurious estate in one of the cities of the United States. Spoiled sisters Beatrice and Lillian Belacort live a luxurious life, indulging in all the vices available to them. More than anything, they love comfort, their beauty and family heritage, as well as cocaine wine and throwing profiteroles at servants. The family and the immediate environment are matched to them, and their relationship is worthy of a separate soap opera: the father is secretly in sexual slavery with a new servant-ex-prostitute, the mother sits on fashionable morphine, husbands love not their wives, but each other, but one of the sisters – own brother.
